Pastoral Care

Sometimes we simply need someone to listen, someone to pray with, or someone to accompany us as we explore our relationship with Jesus Christ.

At Life in Jesus Ministry, pastoral care is an invitation to spend time together in a welcoming space, where you can be heard with kindness, compassion and understanding.

Whether you're discovering Jesus for the first time, returning to faith, facing life's challenges or simply seeking a deeper relationship with him, you are welcome just as you are.

What We Can Explore Together

Every pastoral conversation is different because every person's journey is different.

Our time together might involve exploring a passage of Scripture, praying together, using prayer beads, experiencing heart-centred Christian meditation, or reflecting through Christian devotional tarot.

Or perhaps you would simply like to talk, ask questions, share an experience or have someone listen.

There is no prescribed format and no expectation that you participate in any particular practice. We can discover together what feels most helpful to you.

Whatever form our conversation takes, Jesus Christ remains at the centre.

“For where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them.”

— Matthew 18:20, NRSVue

One hour. Two people. Christ among them.

A Note About Pastoral Care

Your privacy, dignity and wellbeing are important to us.

Pastoral conversations are approached with care, sensitivity and discretion. What you share will be treated respectfully and kept private, except where there is a serious concern about someone's safety or a legal obligation to disclose information.

Pastoral care offers spiritual companionship, prayer and encouragement. It is not a substitute for professional counselling, medical treatment or emergency support.

If your circumstances call for additional support, we can explore appropriate sources of help together.

Our hope is simply to offer a welcoming space where you feel heard, respected and supported in your journey with Jesus Christ.
